With 19 years of experience in the fashion industry, I began my journey as a knitwear designer before transitioning into buying, I then went onto working with a denim brand, working with a large CMT operation. This deepened my expertise in pattern making and garment construction, ultimately leading me to lecture in Garment Technology at CTCFD and The Fashion Institute of Garment Technology.
Currently, I work in styling while running my clothing brand, Aelahn, which specializes in elevated streetwear with unconventional silhouettes. My strong foundation in pattern making and garment construction allows me to emphasize fit, proportion, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Sustainability is a core pillar of Aelahn—I am committed to ethical practices by ensuring fair treatment of workers, utilizing deadstock and end-of-roll fabrics, and incorporating natural fibers whenever possible. As a result, every piece is consciously designed, limited in production, ethically sourced, and locally made.
